The Glengarry Golf and Country Club is a real jewel in Eastern Ontario. Nestled amongst mature hardwood trees, the golf course lives up to the Scottish traditions implied by its name. Rolling hills bring interesting elevation changes to many holes on the course and water adds particular challenges as the Gary River weaves its way across the course.
Two pairs of holes, the 2nd and the 3rd on the front nine and then the13th and 14th on the back nine, are notably challenging and require strategic ball placement to deal with water hazards that are unforgiving. Some golfers have even suggested that a prayer to the Scottish Gods of Golf can sometimes also be helpful on those holes.
As one of the top courses in the region, the Glengarry Golf and Country Club draws golfers from Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec seeking to be challenged and inspired by eighteen holes of golf, each with its own unique design.
